My Culinary Background

 I am Chef Keith Kelly, a seasoned and well-traveled chef with 25 years of experience in the culinary world.  Tired of the corporate kitchens, I realized there is more to Food & Beverage than budgets and profit margins. I embarked on a personal chef journey in 2022 in Big Sky, Montana, and have recently relocated to my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

The Vagabond Concept

 The concept of Vagabond Chef, a wander in search of the perfect bite, is a result of years of travel, exploration, and a passion for unique flavors. My adventures have taken me to bustling markets, hidden street stalls, and family kitchens across the globe, and have inspired me to bring people together through the universal language of food ever since.

My Philosophy

   It’s not just about the food—it’s about the experience, fresh ingredients and the vibrant and approachable dishes that resonate with the soul. From sizzling street tacos to fragrant Mediterranean feasts, each plate tells a story. But the true magic unfolds when these plates are shared at tables filled with laughter and joy!
